The conference took place from 08 – 10 November 2018 at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. The program was attended by PhD researchers from TU Delft, The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and from RWTH Aachen. With his lecture „Technology – a powerful X but not the least a social relation“ Steen Nepper Larsen (Danish school of Education, Aarhus University) gave an introduction to the topic of the conference. Anne Beim (Cinark), Ulrich Knaack (TU Delft), Tillmann Klein (TU Delft) and Linda Hildebrand (RWTH Aachen)  introduced the four sessions with impulse lectures, in which the participants presented their research projects and their understanding of technology in the context of their work. Jens Böke presented the status of his research on ThinkingSkins. A joint dinner in Christiania was part of the program and provided the opportunity for many discussions. It was a very successful event with many exciting impressions and new insights.
